Allen Charlton is a leading documentary film editor, living in London and working for broadcasters worldwide. Films he edited appear regularly on iconic documentary strands such as Storyville (BBC4), Timewatch (BBC2), Dispatches (Channel4), Imagine (BBC1/4), Arena (BBC2) and Frontline (PBS). He has acted as lead editor on over twenty documentary series plus many single documentaries. His work crosses most genres – arts, science, current affairs, observational, history and archaeological films. Awards and nominations include Grierson (2013 + 2014), Emmy, Bafta, Focal, RTS Indy, Rose D’Or, DuPont/ Columbia Broadcast, Montreal FIFA, New York and New Orleans film festivals awards.
